The first of many planned Halloween posts is now available at Celestial Studios, Panache and Lemon!
Bootleg Annie is a Limited Edition costume that will be available through November 1, 2008. This costume set includes the following:
1. Sculpted tricorn hat with 4 custom hair colors. (Kari & Zyrra Falcone)
2. Celestial Studios "V2" prototype skin in light and tan with bonus scarred versions. More skin info below!
3. Shape by Haver Cole of Lemon
4.
Full outfit including' jacket with top, collar, eye patch, gloves, pants, booty shorts, multiple belt, skirt and scarf configurations, two stocking versions, and scultped boots! (TorridWear, Kari, and Celestial
Studios)
5. Custom animation override set by TorridWear that includes 5 stands, a sit, and walk.
Skin Info
The skin in this set is a V2 "prototype" skin, that I started work on over a year ago. Demos are available if you'd like to compare what changes have been made. Overall I feel like it's a smoother skin (which I think translates well in windlight). Only one makeup (with 2 variations) is available for the Bootleg Annie costume. More will be availabe with some of the costumes that we'll be releasing in the coming days and weeks. Who knows, if there is enough interest, maybe I will develop it as a full new line of skins. I've taken some photos below of the skin out of the pirate context to show it on its own.
Right now there are only two skintones available. Unlike past Vogue skins, these tones are moddable via the pigment sliders. I'm afraid that means the eyebrows and pubic hair are NOT moddable. In the event the skin is developed into a full line, I'd love to get some feedback regarding which people prefer to mod, skintone or hair color, since it's not possible to do both without some serious finagling.
Makeups available for the V2 Bootleg Annie version:
Stay tuned for some exciting new costumes coming up. And until then, get to swabbin' the decks, ye hornswagglin' scurvy curs!

I'm so excited these skins are finally done. I actually finished them in December but experienced a bug while assembling the textures into skins in world that prevented me from saving them. I'll explain that below for anyone interested.
For those NOT interested, I'll go ahead and post the photo of the makeup now.
This is a sort of eclectic collection. Clockwise from top left:
Winter 1 - The requisite "winter makeup", with a dark, almost matte wine colored lipstick and a soft smoky eye.
Winter 2 - A sparkling iridescent eye with nude lip. If I'd given these real names this one would probably be called "Frost".
Winter 3 - A very "Fresh Face" heavy on the pink, as requested by Elika Tiramisu. (<3)
Winter 4 - Another dark and wintry lipstick, this time with more of a brown/burgundy color and satiny finish and a neutral eye.
These are available in all five regular Vogue skin tones. They're shown above in the "Pure" tone.
Since this finishes out the seasonal collection, I will be reissuing the spring and summer series as well. The fall ones are still available on the floor. I just have to figure out where to put them, but they should be back in the next few days.
*********************************************************
Now for the boring bug stuff!
I must first thank Elika again, not just for the inspiration for the pink makeup but also for figuring out how to save these!
I've been trying to save them religiously almost every day since I finished them in December. For some reason, when I pressed "Save As" in appearance, nothing would happen. I've waited as long as an hour for the save to "take" and it never did. Oddly though, when I relogged, the skins I tried to save would be in the folder, but without the textures I applied to them. This bug only affected skins. I was able to save all other articles of clothing without any problem. I could not save with my alt or on another computer either.
I cleared my cache obsessively and reinstalled the client but to no avail. Nothing would make these things save. Until Elika casually suggested "Have you tried WindLight?" And I hadn't! So I did and Voila! Saved like a charm on the first try.
This is a mixed blessing because while I am elated to finally be able to finish this set, I do NOT want to be forced to try and make any/all future skins in the horrific windlight lighting. Yes the sky and water are pretty, but so far I haven't come up with a setting that's anything remotely similar to what we have now. If anyone is aware of this bug or some other potential work around/fix (preferably a fix) please let me know!

Last Call & Celestial Studios have collaborated again to bring to life "The Halloween Enchantress." We brainstormed about our favorite iconic Halloween imagery and blended them to create a dark, sexy enchantress perfect for scaring and seducing.
The Enchantress is sold in two pack options: the MegaPak and the CostumePak with skins and hair for sale separately/optionally depending upon the pack one chooses to purchase.
*The MegaPak: includes the Enchantress hair with detailed spider clip in four Halloween colors (black cherry, nocturne, plum, and carrot), the VOGUE Enchantress skin in all five VOGUE skin tones, sculpted wings, ruby spider pendant necklace, 2 versions of the spider stiletto sandals, a dark sparkle-emitting trident, red eyes, horns, and the Enchantress dress with all of its options (3 versions of the skirt, sculpted sleeves, and loads of layer options - including a finished jacket top for mixing and matching with other costumes/wardrobe pieces). It's the complete Halloween Enchantress collection ^_^
*The CostumePak: includes the sculpted wings, ruby spider pendant necklace, 2 versions of the spider stiletto sandals, a dark sparkle-emitting trident, red eyes, horns, and the Enchantress dress with all of its options (3 versions of the skirt, sculpted sleeves, and loads of layer options - including a finished jacket top for mixing and matching with other costumes/wardrobe pieces).
*The Halloween Enchantress Hair: is also available for separate purchase in the full, shimmering line of Celestial Studios hair colors. Long tendrils in the front accent a complicated braided style held up with the ruby spider clip (the signature of this enchantress). Be sure to try the demos!
*The Halloween Enchantress Vogue Skins: are accented with a coordinating glittery spiderweb over the left eye for a dramatic finishing touch to the set. Red lips and smoky black glitter makeup make these themed skins the perfect Halloween party accessory.
The Halloween Enchantress is a limited release and will be retired November 1, 2007. Our favorite enchantress so far, we had so much fun making her. We hope you have just as much fun wearing her!

Sale Update
The skin sale is officially over. It ran about 12 hours long since I fell asleep on my couch waiting for it to be 7pm SLT and couldn't shut it down till I woke up this morning. Oops! That's what I get for trying to go a day without caffeine.
When I did log in this morning, I popped in to extreme lag. I received several blank notecards just titled "New Note" with "Unknown" creator. I expect this was due to the lag. If you sent one of them and it was actually supposed to have some sort of information on it, please let me know.
****EDIT: Apparently at least some of the notecards were written to inform me that two of the sale packs were not marked down. I'll be going through transactions and refunding the sale price difference to anyone who may have purchased one of these packs inadvertently. The two packs affected were in the Cashmere skintone, both Blue & Aqua. If you wanted to purchase either of these but refrained due to the price discrepancy, please IM me by Friday and I'll honor the sale price.
Future Updates
Updates may be a little slow for awhile as I have a whole bunch of big projects in the works. The kind that keep me busy but keep my new items wall emptier than I'd like. I may have a small hair & accessory release later this week and then I'll be devoting a lot of time to new skins. The next release will be the Vogue skins for the darker skintones. I have been promising those for about a year, and working quietly & diligently on them all summer since I rebuilt and actually have room for them now! These are still a little way off, but coming along quite well. Expect three new skintones and a little bit different skin overall. I'll explain all the details when it's time to actually release them. For now, here's a little sneak peek. This is actually a few stages ago in the skin but SL seems to want to blow up if I take a new snapshot.
After that, there are three more skins in the works, including one for men! No further details on those projects at this time. Expect to see at least two of them by the end of the year. And maybe, just maybe, I'll find the time to sneak in some Halloween things. ;)

First things first. The Fall Series Vogue Skins are out now. As usual, there are four different makeup styles in the set. All four focus on neutral or warm tones perfect for fall. The defining feature of these new makeups is the new glowing cheeks. More than just blush, contouring or highlighting, these skins have a whole new "fresh faced" appearance. Like the healthy glow you'd get after a brisk walk in the cool fall air.
Fall - 1 has a warm metallic lip and neutral toned eyes with a dramatic lower liner and a touch of shimmery highlight.
Fall - 2 has a truly matte finish on the lips. The first I think
I've ever done, as I normally prefer some gloss or sheen to the lips,
but the matte look works well in the fall. The tone of the lips mods
beautifully with the lipstick color sliders, offering a natural looking
range of brown and pinks.

Fall - 3 has a slightly warm, slightly glossy lip with a shimmery nude eye and an unexpected splash of green rimming the lower lashes.

Fall - 4 has pale sexy lips in a rich creamy finish, glowing cheeks and light shimmery eyes with a smoky liner. This is probably my favorite of the collection, such a fresh look that works with so many different outfits.
Both Charmed and Vogue skin lines are on sale at 50% off through Sunday. Sale will end Sunday, September 30th at 7pm SLT.
What is included?
All singles and four packs in Celestial City are marked down. This includes both Charmed lines and Vogue skins. The new fall series are included, as well as all past "special edition" skins, including the Glitter, Spring, and Summer series.
What is NOT included?
The only things NOT included in the sale are the mega fat (16) packs of the Vogue skins and the Canimal Glow collaboration skins. Deviant Nation Vogue skins at Last Call are NOT on sale. Only MY skins in Celestial City are marked down.
Where are the sale skins?
The skins are located where they normally are. Toward the back of the store, Charmed on the left, Vogue on the right. The new fall skins are conveniently located in the Vogue section as well as on the "New" wall near the landing point at the front of the store. All special edition Vogue skins are centrally located in the center of the Vogue display area.
All sales are final.
Please be careful when purchasing. Double check that you are buying the skin tone that you want, and when purchasing demos, be sure it's priced at L$1 and is indeed a demo before accepting the transaction. The only exception to this rule is a duplicate purchase of the same item. Please contact me via IM or notecard with the name and date(s) of the skin that was purchased twice. If you buy a skin and it is not delivered, or disappears when you relog, please let me know and I'll be happy to replace it for you. Send me a notecard with your name, the name of the item(s), and the date of purchase and I will send your replacement as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. Alternately, you can paste the appropriate line from your transaction history.
Wrong price bounty hunting-
One final note: I repriced hundreds and hundreds of boxes. I was very careful to price them all correctly, but there is always a chance that I missed a box, or priced something incorrectly. If you find a box with the wrong price, please let me know! The first person to report incorrect pricing will receive the contents of the box for free. Hopefully this won't be necessary, but knowing me, I probably screwed up at least one. ;)
That is all. Sorry for the long winded post, I'm just very excited about the new skins and the big sale. Happy shopping!

It's almost time to release the Fall Series Vogue Skins. I thought this would make a total of 100 options for these skins, which would be cause for a celebration, and what better way to celebrate than a great big sale? Then I sat down and did the math and realized it will actually be more like 116! So that just means the celebration sale is overdue!
All my skins in Celestial City will be 50% off from Wednesday, September 26th through Sunday September 30th. Please note: the Canimal Glow skins and the Deviant Nation skins in Last Call will NOT be on sale. This sale is for MY skins in CELESTIAL CITY only. Both Charmed & Vogue lines will be marked down. The Fall Series Vogue Skins will be released on Wednesday and will be offered at the sale price.
The sale will begin at 7am SLT on the 26th and it will end at 7pm SLT on the 30th. Celestial City will be closed for a period of time before & after the sale for repricing.

I made the new veronica style in response to the numerous requests I get for the Cowgirl style without a hat. Please note that Veronica II is actually a closer facsimile to that style than Veronica I. Veronica I has a sculpted bang & hangs straight down to the mid back. Veronica II uses prim bangs, is mid back length again, but has the flipped wispy pieces around the face that were present on the Cowgirl style.
The original Deviant Nation skin series is once again available at Last Call. I know a lot of people have been looking for those, and now they can be found again. :)
******************************************************************
Oh yes! I need to add this:
Be sure to stop by and check out the SLCC Magic Mushroom treasure hunt. There are three magic mushrooms hidden in Celestial City with a goodie inside for those who find them. Read all about the hunt and see a list of participating locations by clicking here. I made a special goodie for the event, but I can't tell you where it's at. ;)

I'm very excited about this first one. Canimal & I have collaborated to adapt her Glow makeup (one of my all-time favorites) for my Vogue skins. Everything about these makeups is beautiful from the ethereal almost fantasy eye makeup to the subtle iridescence on the lips. Be sure to try a demo of these as the small pictures really do not capture them.
A second skin set is out as well. I've reworked my original gold & silver glitter sets for the Charmed skins for Vogue skins by request. These were always one of my favorite sets, and I think I love the new incarnation even more than the first.
Also out today, some new Moderno goodies for the menfolk. Although, I must say, they look pretty damn good on females too. Two new track jackets with sculpted prim hoods:
And a set of basic thermal tees in a variety of gray shades that look nice & clean alone, but are great for layering as well:
Glow & Glitter skins are available at Celestial Studios.
Glow skins are also available at Canimal.
Men's clothing items are available at Moderno.
