Hair Fair Begins!

Hairfair06

You've seen the bald pics all over SL, but it's impossible to be bald now that Hair Fair has started!  If you've been living in a cave or under a rock, Hair Fair is a huge gathering of over 30 of SL's hair designers in one place for a week.  Besides tons of new hair, there are freebies and contests, and fun around every corner.

I personally contributed two new styles:

I think I've bought at least 10 styles so far and my plan is to try to pick up something by each designer over the course of the week.  There are some truly beautiful and amazing styles on display.  Everyone went all out for Hair Fair!

The Contest

I posted this idea for running a contest a little while back (mistakenly thinking it was a private forum). Regardless of accidental early publicity, I'm happy to report that the contest is up and running, albeit under a new name.

Be sure to look for the mannequins lining the central stage area.  They are numbered 1-20 and look a bit like this:

There is L$30,000 in prize money generously donated by the Hair Fair designers.  The object is to determine which designer created which hair.  Be sure to stop by and check it out for complete information, rules, and of course TO ENTER!

The contest ends Wednesday, April 19. So make sure to send me your entry forms by then. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded on Friday, April 21st.

Good luck, there are some real stumpers in there!
